Troublemakers

To play music you really do not always need expensive musical instruments. SDH gladly and often uses unusual and surprising sound sources. The percussionists show some unusual instruments, such as sirens and shells, and play the work 'Living Room Music' by composer John Cage. After this all children may select two objects from the class room and with these they will, led by the percussionists, create a composition.

Age: 7-14 year (workshop level can be adjusted to age) 
Number of percussionists: 2

Slagwerk Den Haag has an extensive educational program for children (aged 4 to 14) that's not only interesting for schools, but also for after-school programs or youth organizations.
